Project Description

Tainan, the earliest civilized county, has the most comprehensive urban fabric in Taiwan. Like any other cities in the western world, the heart of Tainan city is the Old Town. Underneath this old town, four rivers are running, 1. River Tek-kheng 2. River Hok-an-khen 3. River Cheng-Kung 4. River Pang However, they are invisible to every inhabitant in Tainan. The project is to recall the forgotten memory of these four rivers via collecting and mapping their traces. 4 abandoned old houses located in each specific river were chosen and will be converted into flower shop, fabric factory, gold fish museum and a travelers hub.
