Project Description

The increasing building needs in Indonesia also skyrocketed the number of electrical energy requirements. Nowadays, the demand for electricity in Indonesia is still not balanced with the availability of electricity supply. It later would cause rolling blackouts. Unfortunately, the electricity demand has boomed even though there is still 45% of regions in Indonesia that have not got to access to electricity easily. Other than that, the high use of electricity also has impact on the occurrence of global warming and the increasing earth's temperature. The largest carbon emission is from electricity sector, which worldwide has contributed almost 40 percent of total carbon emissions. Since it produced mainly from burning fossil fuels, which are the main cause of global warming. Thus, electricity savings are the best choice to reduce the threat of global warming, as well as an effort to expand equal distribution of electricity supply in Indonesia. This project is expected to be an inspiration and reference idea of
