Project Description
Daylight in Polar areas is a Difficult problem. During winter in Northern Finland, light is abscent. But this is only true at sealevel. Sunlight is still present in the troposphere and be extracted. By using a weatherballoon combined with a mirrorlike object, the sunlight can be redirected trough a fibre optic cable down to the earth. Bulbs and lamps can then be fitted to the natural powersource and provide natural sunlight during these dark wintertimes.
