Project Description

For many people winter with its shorter days and lack of light, is synonymous with sadness, lack of energy and depression. The short supply of daylight causes imbalances in the body's natural rhythms, and it is crucial to enhance the effect of daylight during the day. That is why the main problem is to "overcome the sadness of winter in polar climates", using natural light as an element that contributes to enhance daylight and generate stimuli in people. The design comes from the resulting light effect between light and climate with respect to the stages of winter. The appearance of the light generated by the incidence of the sun's rays on the surfaces of the project comes from the material, the use of colour and the natural component of the outdoor climate, which enhances the lighting effect depending on the situation of the day.
