Project Description
For daylight investigation, I looked at natural materials that can be found in Africa that produce health benefits. As we know people are becoming more conscious and aware of healthy living and moving in natural environments that still suit their day-to-day lives. To support this statement, I designed a portable Pavilion that can be modified to the user's personal needs. The Pavilion mimics our natural environment and brings light it into our buildings and courtyards in an abstract way. The inspiration for this project was people interacting with nature under the trees and how the cool shadows have such a sensory effect on the human mind and well-being.
